The new Lotus Esprit spotted during testing in Arctic. The test mule was wearing an old Esprit body disguise. As we reported before, the new Esprit is expected to be powered by the twin-turbo 4.4L V8 that debuted in the X6 xDrive50i at the Detroit Auto Show.
It's expected to the engine gets pumped up from the original 407 hp to a nice round 500 hp for Esprit. The Esprit will compete super sport cars such as the next gen Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo.
