2009 Pontiac Wave5 Unveiled In Montreal

The badge engineering is one of the favourite jobs of GM. With its countless rebadged models, American automaker unveiled in Canada a rebadged version of the Chevy Aveo sedan, which calls Pontiac Wave.

With the arrival of the facelifted Aveo5 comes a new Wave5 for Canada. It's the new Aveo5 with a Pontiac twin-grille. Unlike the Pontiac G5, this won't be coming across US border.

Officially Unveiled: 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring

Remember the Hyundai Elantra Touring Beach Cruiser Concept that appeared at last year's SEMA. Hyundai has officially unveiled the 2009 Elantra Touring at the Montreal International Auto Show and gave us a proper look at the car. Sold in Europe as the i30 CW, the Elantra Touring will be in showrooms a little later this year.

It's a good looking small wagon with a nicely-detailed interior. Power comes from a 2.0L making 141 horses mated to a five-speed manual or an optional 4-speed automatic.
