Auto Bild Reveals Ford Focus RS


We've already seen the teaser image released by Ford of its new Focus RS. And now German car magazine Auto Bild released the first ever live shots of Ford's new hot hatch. Rolling on 18-inch OZ wheels and sporting many of the front-end elements seen in the teaser.

But we're not sure if this is an exclusive first peek or just a Focus ST with a nose job and some photochopped wheels. The profile shot is likely revealing that its photocopped.

Spy Shots: Audi RS 6 Sedan


The sport sedan wars in Europe will be heating up with Audi’s latest RS 6 sedan which spied during cold weather testing in Scandinavia. This spy photos give us the best view yet of the production model debuts later this year.

The sedan version is powered by the same V-10 as found in the RS 6 Avant, which debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The engine is expected to make 580hp and 650Nm of torque. Expect a 0-100km in less than 4.6 seconds and 0-200km/h by the 15 second mark.

Outside Audi's new super sedan features RS 6 badging on the brake calipers and grille, while the interior has RS 6 logos on the seats and instrument panel.

Video: Renault Twingo RS



Renault's new hot hatch Twingo Renault Sport offers 133 hp extracted from a 1.6 liter engine. The body kit has been modified to reflect the power increase with more aggressive styling.

The Twingo Renault Sport performance version follows in the footsteps of the Renault Clio and Megane. The car competes with the Ford Fiesta ST and VW Polo GTI .

The Renault Twingo RS will be on show at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

Details Of The New Ford Focus RS


Autocar claims to Ford's new Focus RS may debut as soon as this summer's London Motor Show. The new Focus RS will get all the updates seen on the 2008 Ford Focus in Europe. Which means the car will carry the standard car's new Kinetic Design styling cues with some aggressive changes.

Autocar claims the new RS will be powered by the same 2.5L five-cylinder turbo from the Focus ST, but with modified pistons, cams and valve springs, a bigger turbo and a larger intercooler, all of which will bump power up from 222bhp to 280bhp. The power will be sent to the front wheels. And Ford has a new electronic front differential to keep the car steady under power.

The new Focus RS should be able to reach 60 mph in under six seconds and its top speed will likely be governed to 155 mph. Projected pricing of around £25,000 is aimed directly at the Volkswagen R32 in Europe.
