Along the facelifted Galant, Mitsubishi revealed the revised 2009 Eclipse before its debut at Chicago. Most of the changes occured at the front. The revised Eclipse gets a Lancer-like grille. So the car is more in line with the EVO now. Out back, there's a diffuser-style rear fascia. On the GT there's a new dual exhaust system which bumps output of the V6. The interior remains unchanged.
The 3.8L V6 adds 2 horsepower and 2 lb-ft of torque for a total of 265 hp/262 lb-ft.
