Spy Shots: Saab 9-4X Interior Photo

Saab's new 9-4X SUV spotted entering the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. The 9-4X shares the same platform with Saturn Vue and Opel Antara but will be revised to fit the premium segment.

Sources have claimed this prototype has a 284 horsepower V6 engine under the hood mated to an automatic gear box. The dimensions of the model stand at a length 495cm and 192cm wide bringing an estimated weight to around 2180kg.

The car carries some similar design cues to the 9-4X BioPower Concept with the aggressive half oval grille. But the overall profile of the vehicle had to be heavily toned down for production.

The car is expected to make its world debut at next year's Detroit Motor Show before production commences at the GM factory in Mexico. - More pictures after the jump...

Officially Unveiled: Subaru Exiga Photos

Japan is a MPV heaven. Unlike US there are a lot of 7-seaters in Japan. And today a new car has added those. The Subaru Exiga 7-seater went on sale in Japan.

The Exiga's power comes from a naturally-aspirated 2.0L engine which outputs 146 hp. The sportier GT model with intercooler and turbocharger makes 221 hp. Passengers are treated to a huge panoramic roof.

There are some wagon lovers in other countries too. Especially in the US. But there's no word in the press release that Subaru will bring the Exiga to USA.

First Official Camaro Convertible Pictures Released

Thanks to those spy photographers we have already seen a lot of shots of the new Chevrolet Camaro. Last year GM released pre-production shots of the Camaro Coupe, now for the first time we get to see the first official shots of the Camaro Convertible.

The shots have only been released in low resolution so far. Chevrolet North America Vice President Ed Peper posted them on GM's Fastlane Blog.

The model is still in the evaluation stages of development and it will go into full production next year. New Camaro is expected to make debut at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.

Leaked: Hyundai i35 Coupe Photo

Worldcarfans has received this photo from an anonymous source, is believed to be the production version of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe Concept. While they can not 100% verify its authenticity, Hyundai refused to deny that it is an accurate representation.

Believed to be called the Hyundai i35 Coupe should go to dealerships during spring 2009. The car will get a 3.8 liter V6 engine rated at over 300 horsepower, with 250 ft-lb of torque, and mated with a six-speed manual transmission. 0-60 mph times could be less than six seconds. It was previously reported that the 2+2 rear-wheel-drive coupe is separate to the front-wheel-drive Tiburon replacement.

The prospective of the Hyundai i35 Coupe looks good. The production version stays really true to the concept's more chiseled side and front styling. One thing that makes us think is that Hyundai originally said a factory model of the Genesis Coupe Concept would have three slats at the front to assist engine cooling. Remnants of this can be seen at the fog lights, but not in the oversized grille.

The deliveries of this car originally planned for early next year, production of an alleged Hyundai i35 Coupe would begin this year. And that means this photo may be real.
