Brits Get Limited Edition Toyota Hilux Invincible


Toyota launches a new limited edition range topping model of its Hilux pickup truck for the UK market. The model is based on Hilux Invincible 200 Double Cab powered by the 3.0-liter D-4D diesel engine which regularly pumps out 169bhp and 343NM of torque, this new Invincible limited edition model has a Toyota Motor Sport engine performance kit raising maximum power to 194bhp and 430 Nm of torque. Despite the power increase the fuel consumption and emissions remain the same.

Toyota has also made to minor changes to the look of the vehicle, the exterior gets a news stainless steel mesh grille and a black metallic livery with a set of metallic finish alloy wheels. The interior gets a new two-tone leather upholstery with heated front seats and a full-map touch screen satellite navigation.

Production is to be limited to just 500 units of the model with pricing to start from £21,540.

Cadillac's First Ever Station Wagon On Sale In The UK


The first-ever Station-Wagon model in Cadillac’s history is now on sale in the UK with the introduction of the new BLS Wagon. Actually it's a Saab 9-3 Sport Combi which was reskinned. The American luxury carmaker is quite optimistic about the SW as it expects to attract new customers to the brand and to account for 50% of BLS sales in the UK this year.

There will be six different engines, two common-rail diesel and four petrol unit – all with turbocharging. Engine outputs range from 150 to 255 HP and every engine is available with manual or automatic transmission. Prices start at at £21,495 for both the 175 HP 2.0-liter Turbo petrol and 150 Hp 1.9-liter diesel models.

Lexus Pursues Promotion With World's First All-Car Orchestra


In United Kingdom Lexus is doing its best to show buyers the technical prowess of the new LS sedans. The premium tunes of the LS 460's Mark Levinson audio system are on display in a different way. The LS 460's impressive sound system includes 450 total watts coming from 19 speakers per vehicle.

The folks from Aichi want to show UK buyers that the system is good enough for a full-blown orchestra. The London Symphony Orchestra is teaming up with Lexus GB to perform a concert using the sound systems of 12 Lexus LS 460s. Each car will contain the music for one instrument section, and all music will be coordinated form a central digital sound desk .
